It was a heck of a lot more convenient than transporting all of my stuff myself. My wife and I can only do so much at a time. When we sold our house and were ready to move to San Diego, they transported our units onto a truck and took it straight there.
I’ve dealt with U-Hauls in the past and this has been so much easier. I’m really not a truck person (I drive a Toyota Corolla) so handling a box truck for a 400-mile trip wasn’t very easy, especially parking the stupid thing. Then I had to make the same trip with my car just to get my excess belongs there.
